The Woman Who Wore Cat by: Mindy Ragan Wood

download (15)

I confess, I downloaded this book from Amazon based on the title. It was and still is 99 cents, and it’s a very short story, so why not?

I had no idea it was a Christian/Inspirational story, but I am so glad I was led to it. Even if you aren’t particularly religious, I believe you will enjoy this cute tale as it truly is inspiring and has a good lesson all of us can use.

The old lady in this little town, is considered odd, a little off even, but not dangerous. She sits on a bench and wears one of her now stuffed (taxidermy) cats around her neck. Oh, how she loved that cat.

She is a regular fixture in town, but no one really pays her much mind, until the Preacher finds himself caught up in conversation with her, and learns some valuable lessons from her.

It is a reminder of the people we pass on a regular basis and really think nothing of except maybe the odd habits they have that we notice.

It is a reminder we are all humans with a story, and a purpose.

I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a short, uplifting story.

As of this posting it is still 99 cents for the Kindle download.
