Everything We Keep by Kerry Lonsdale

This is a good beach or lazy day weekend type of read. It wasn’t my favorite, but it is still a good story and worth a read.

The fiance’ of Aimee (the main character), disappears and his body is later found. Supposedly his body is in such bad shape, that his funeral is closed casket. He is buried on what would have been their wedding day.

But a visit from a psychic (she plays a minimal part in this book), gets Aimee to thinking and exploring and trying to find answers to whether her fiance’ is really still alive or not.

They answer to the mystery of her fiances’ disappearance is a little unbelievable, but watching the main character grow and become her own woman makes up for that.

I am a big fan of Prologues and Epilogues, but I wish the Author had left the Epilogue out of this one, as it left you thinking there might be a sequel, and there just isn’t enough story to turn into a second book.

I wish this book had went through just one more editing session as some of the dialogue is a little choppy.

That being said, it is still a good read and I will read more from this Author, as she has the potential to become an amazing Author.

I received this book from NetGally and it will be available to purchase on Amazon, tomorrow, August 10, 2016.
