TV Series review: “Hotel Barclay” by Leah Myette

Hotel Barclay.jpg

I was invited by the creator of this series to watch it through my Amazon Prime.

I watched a few episodes and am still undecided, but it is growing on me.

They are more psychologically scary than the gore horror, so that is a plus for me. I am not into the gore or evil/demonic.

The filming and acting are so-so , but for some reason, I can see myself becoming addicted to this show.

I will probably watch the rest of the episodes this weekend.

There is “suggestible language”,  and there are ‘situations’, so make sure your rug-rats are not around. 😉

If you like Independent Films, then give this a try. Think Twilight Zone but a little bit naughty, lol.

I cannot give it a thumbs up or thumbs down at this point, but I certainly am going to watch the rest of the episodes, as I do like it well enough to continue.

I will probably edit this review once I’ve watched some more episodes, I just wanted to get the word out about it, because certain viewers will find this enjoyable, I just don’t think it will appeal to the masses. But I think it will appeal to many.

If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch for free, and if not, episodes can be purchased for as low as 99 cents.

So, go to this Amazon link and give it a try and tell me what you think!
