I’m amazed when I see fellow bloggers with a Goodreads widget showing multiple books shelved as currently reading. It isn’t the number I find shocking, but the type of books. More often than not, all those books are novels. It’s not that I’m appalled by the thought of reading multiple novels at a time. I don’t understand. Could it be people aren’t marking a book as finished before adding the next reading endeavor to the list? In some cases, perhaps, but I doubt it’s a blanket answer.
