Newsletter from Oceanview Publishing

Now that we made it through Halloween with a candy feast, we can really get serious as we start think turkey, or some wonderful alternative, for Thanksgiving. Hopefully, everyone will have an enjoyable Thanksgiving with family, friends, solitude—whatever you desire. But take some time to relax with a good book—from Oceanview.

November is busy and exciting for us. Our November release, Goliath, by Shawn Corridan and Gary Waid, really hit the ground running. Great reviews (Starred-Publisher’s Weekly) and significant PR activity have it off to a wonderful start, and the authors are working hard with signings, social media, etc. This is a terrific, fast-paced book. You will want to read it in one sitting.

We will also release  Final Crossing by Carter Wilson in trade paper and The Deal Collection by Adam Gittlin as an eBook (the three books,The Deal, The Deal: About Face and Deal Master) this month.

In December, we will double your pleasure with two books being released. Dark Fissues, by Anthony Award-winning and best-selling author Matt Coyle, reintroduces you to Rick Cahill. Rick’s a great guy but gets himself in trouble because he insists on seeking out the truth—at all costs. This time, a beautiful woman hires him to prove that her Navy SEAL husband did not commit suicide, but was murdered. This pits Rick against several (old and some new) enemies, who would like nothing more than to see him dead.

Then we release Revelation, by USA Today best-selling author Carter Wilson. When college student Harden Campbell awakens on the dirt floor of a small cell with the mutilated body of his best friend next to him, he realizes that he may be next to die, but also knows what he must do if he is to survive. If this book lets you fall asleep, it will certainly awaken you in a cold sweat. A unique and compelling thriller.

You just have to read both of these December releases.

Several other wonderful things happened for Oceanview this month. Little Lamb Lost by Margaret Fenton, And Then There Was One by Patricia Gussin, and Method 15/33 by Shannon Kirk all made the Amazon Kindle Weekly Best-seller List, and The Perfect Assassin by Ward Larsen made the Apple iBook Weekly Best-seller List. Congratulations to these four highly talented authors.

Also (Drum Roll), the movie script for The Perfect Assassin (Ward Larsen) was finalized by director, Carlo Carle, and casting will now begin! This is a major step for Oceanview Entertainment and partner, Amber Entertainment. Filming in Rome and other locations in Italy should begin before too long. Congratulations to author Ward Larsen and to so many people involved in reaching this milestone. Wow!

Enjoy Thanksgiving, and keep on reading.
