SCIENCE COMICS FOR KIDS-CARS

Description

In Dan Zettwoch’s Science Comics: Cars, you’ll learn where cars came from and how they work. When you pop the hood, what are you looking at? How does gasoline—or electric batteries, or even steam—make a car move? Rev up your motor and take look at the combustible history of the automobile and its explosive effects on our modern lives.

Every volume of Science Comics offers a complete introduction to a particular topic—dinosaurs, the solar system, robots, and more. Whether you’re a fourth grader doing a natural science unit at school or a thirty year old with a secret passion for airplanes, these books are for you!

MY THOUGHTS

You can find these comics on Amazon and also check out MacMillan.com for the full library!

This series is beyond wonderful and a great way for your kid to enjoy reading and learning!

They cover many topics, such as weather, cats etc.

Pretty much everything under the sun!

My Lovely Wife by- Samantha Downing. One of my favorites of 2019!

Dexter meets Mr. and Mrs. Smith in this wildly compulsive debut thriller about a couple whose fifteen-year marriage has finally gotten too interesting…

Our love story is simple. I met a gorgeous woman. We fell in love. We had kids. We moved to the suburbs. We told each other our biggest dreams, and our darkest secrets. And then we got bored.

We look like a normal couple. We’re your neighbors, the parents of your kid’s friend, the acquaintances you keep meaning to get dinner with.

We all have our secrets to keeping a marriage alive.

Ours just happens to be getting away with murder.

MY THOUGHTS:

If you have just finished reading an amazing book such as “Verity” by Colleen Hoover, and you are having trouble keeping interest in other books, give this book a shot!

You may think you know, but you don’t!

This book has a lot of amazing and wonderful twists!

Millicent and her husband seem to have a normal life, but they have a dark secret.

And Millicent has her own secrets.

So does her husband.

Even though they are not nice people, you will still be rooting for them.

Or her…

or him…

I’ll let you decide.

Available on Amazon.

MY THOUGHTS

The thing I appreciate most about this book is that it goes deeper

into the culture of Seattle, just as the title suggests.

This would be helpful to the tourists, but it goes even deeper than

that. Don’t get me wrong, this is NOT a guide to the best sites in

Seattle and all of the ins and outs, this actually shares charts, graphs

and the history of Seattle.

I highly recommend this book for Seattle natives, tourists who really

want to understand Seattle more, and for those just curious.

Very enjoyable read that gave a lot of details but without being

bogged down.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #Seattleness #SasquatchBooks and the Authors for allowing me to read and review this very enjoyable book!

~January
